What’s New

happy thanksgiving

We hope that this communication finds you and your families well and safe. As we navigate the ups and downs of 2020, one of our favorite times of year is approaching. Each Thanksgiving may be a little different than the one before, but what matters most doesn’t ever change – that wonderful feeling of being with family and knowing how much you are loved.

We are thankful for you and truly appreciate your support, patience, and understanding through a year unlike any other we have ever experienced. As we enter the cold and flu season and continue to see a spike in COVID cases, we want you to rest assured that your comfort and safety remains our highest mission.

We are continuing to utilize all of the latest sterilization protocols to ensure that our facilities and clinics are clean, sterile and ready for your arrival. Our reception areas will remain rearranged to allow for the recommended six-foot social distancing during your visit. Appointment scheduling has been adjusted to allow time for enhanced cleaning and sterilization measures. Rest assured, your treatment area will meet the strictest standards for your protection and peace of mind.

Our Reflections Virtually! platform has been a huge success and continues to be used by many patients. We now have the ability to offer you virtual consultations from the comfort of your home. In addition, for new patients entering treatment, we are excited about our enhanced Virtual Care platform, allowing you the option of virtual check-ups with our doctor and staff using your iPhone or Android device! Our Virtual Care program will allow for the ultimate level of convenience by eliminating trips to the office while ensuring that you are receiving the highest level of care that you have grown to expect under the direct supervision of our team. Tell your friends and family and check out our newly updated website to learn more!

Finally, for a little while longer, our cinema, iPad Bar, XBox Wall, Candy Bar and refreshment center will remain closed. However, our heart and passion for your experience with us is at the forefront of our planning. If you are enjoying our waiting area, our Concierge Team will make sure you have a safe and comfortable space to enjoy while inside. We will monitor the number of guests in the office at any given time to further insure your safety.
Our Team at Reflections Ortho wishes you and your families a safe and joyful Holiday Season. At this time of Thanksgiving celebration, our thoughts turn gratefully to you with warm appreciation.

Our best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,
Dr. Scott Blackman, Dr Nic Bisig, and your Family at Reflections Ortho

Dear Reflections Family,

In 2005, a journey began that would ultimately reveal a system of healthcare that passionately married the highest level of guest service with a tradition of excellence in orthodontic treatment. We enjoy building and maintaining life-long relationships with our guests, and strive to create unique and memorable guest experiences throughout the course of treatment.

Our service-centered culture is driven by a very special, carefully selected team. I know you will agree when I say that our Reflections Staff is nothing short of wonderful! Recently, a plan was initiated and the search began for the next doctor who would join our staff. It was very important that our new doctor be gifted with the ability to continue our long-standing tradition of excellence in orthodontics upon which our practice was founded. In addition, it was equally important that our doctor have a service-driven heart, that would continue to drive and support our culture that we hold so dearly.

I am proud and very excited to introduce you that special person! Dr. Nicolas Bisig joined our practice in May 2020. “Dr. Nic” was born and raised in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He began his higher education at the University of Georgia, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 2006. He then went on to earn his dental degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He then married his beautiful wife, Courtney, and they moved to Colorado for his Orthodontic Residency, where he received his Master’s of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. While pursuing his orthodontic residency, Dr. Nic was awarded the Rocky Mountain Orthodontic Scholarship as the top resident in his class. He has been working in the Middle Tennessee area for the past 7 years, and in that time has taken a focused interest in providing the highest quality of care with the Invisalign system. He is excited to join the Reflections family, and he is committed to helping me continue to provide the gold standard of service excellence that has become synonymous with our brand here at Reflections Orthodontics.

Dr. Nic is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Tennessee Dental Association. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Nic also enjoys traveling, fishing and University of Georgia football. He and Courtney live in Nashville with their two beautiful daughters, Lauren and Natalie, and their labradoodle, Jackson.

Please join me in welcoming Dr. Nic and his family to our practice and to our wonderful community!

Sincerely Yours, Dr. Scott Blackman
